COSTA RICA:
Costa Rica is located in the Central American Isthmus and borders Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south, the Caribbean Sea can be seen to the northeast and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. The official language of the country is Spanish, as is that of its neighbors. Costa Rica as a country brand has a long history and tradition of respect for the environment that places the country as the favorite among tourists and travelers who visit the Central American region.
Costa Rica has 6% of the world's biodiversity thanks to the care and protection of its ecosystems and the awareness of citizens on the importance of caring for the environment from their first years of school, achieving with it a citizen culture of love and respect for the environment that has contributed over the years to making Costa Rica the most sustainable country in Latin America.
GUANACASTE:
The Province of Guanacaste is the most prominent tourist region in Costa Rica. It has a world-class international airport, a luxurious marina and a border crossing with Nicaragua. This province has a geographical area of 9,529 km2, of which a little more than 700 kilometers are coastline where there are numerous beaches which are bathed by the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean which displays a combination of blue waters on the horizon. The northern part is divided into three tourist subregions (Liberia, Santa Cruz and La Cruz), which in turn are interrelated with seven important tourist development centers (Papagayo, El Coco, Flamingo, Conchal, Tamarindo, El Jobo and Cuajiniquil). In addition, in the southern sector is the Nicoya Peninsula, which has the beautiful tourist development center of Sámara.
